On December 18, 2018, in conjunction with the Marcel Duchamp Prize, Thu-Van Tran appeared as a guest on Marie Richeux's podcast Par les temps qui courent. The podcast features nightly discussions where guests freely explore their thoughts, worldviews, creative processes, and contemporary dialogues, with a focus on art and culture in all its forms.

Thu-Van Tran was one of the four finalists for the 2018 Marcel Duchamp Prize, which included a group exhibition of their works at the Centre Pompidou until December 31.
